I founded Bryter Digital in 2013 after a long career in London’s agency scene, and I still lead it today alongside a small, family-run team. Over the years we’ve worked with national brands, galleries and cultural organisations; these days I particularly enjoy bringing that experience to smaller local businesses, which rarely get access to the same level of thinking without the big-agency price tag.
That might mean a new website, but just as often it’s straightforward advice: what’s working, what isn’t, and where a modest budget will make the biggest difference. My day-to-day is looking after clients, steering projects and bringing in new business, and I still work hands-on in front-end design and e-learning content.
I’m also a member of The Copy Collective, a group of artists, curators, architects, musicians and scholars exploring a rediscovered body of photocopy self-portraits by the painter Sir Sidney Nolan, through exhibitions, film, sound and performance.
Outside work I’m a photographer with exhibited and published work, including a body of photographs of Vic and Bob taken over many years of friendship with Jim Moir. I collect vinyl, and I’m owned by two Smooth Fox Terriers, which explains why I’m rarely short of energy or opinions.
If your website isn’t bringing in the work it should, I’m always happy to have a no-obligation chat over a coffee.
